This shoe is designed to make the transition between the soleless peuque and the pre-walker or first-fit shoe. Su diseño está pensado especialmente para la etapa del gateo y por eso el talón de estos modelos tiene una forma especial de “U” lo que hace que el zapato sea cómodo para el pequeño cuando camina y más cómodo todavía en la posición de gateo ya que le brinda una posición del pie natural sin resistencia del zapato frente al movimiento del talón.
Al igual que en el zapato de bebé, siempre buscamos los materiales más blanditos pero resistentes porque son zapatos que tienen que aguantar mucha batalla en esos pies inquietos que están comenzando a explorar el mundo
La horma empleada para este tipo de zapatos es ancha y redondeada, porque el pie todavía necesita su espacio para seguir formándose sin problemas de rozaduras, o aplastamientos de dedos.
Todos los modelos de gateo disponen de cierre de velcro (adherente) por dos motivos: Al ser ajustable, proporcionan una mejor adaptación del zapato a cada pie, y también para que los peques puedan empezar a abrocharse ellos solos las correas y comiencen de este modo a desarrollar su psicomotricidad y puedan ganar independencia de una forma sencilla.
La suela de los modelos de gateo tiene una forma especial que recoge el pie tanto por la puntera como por el talón y esto es para favorecer el equilibrio y la estabilidad del niño al caminar pero manteniendo una suela fina y flexible para no añadir resistencia a la pisada.
En esta etapa de su crecimiento, todavía no están formados los pies de los peques y por tanto un buen calzado elegido a conciencia y bien seleccionado puede facilitarles mucho la tarea de soltarse a andar a solas gracias a la confianza y estabilidad que este tipo de zapato les aporta
En la parte posterior del zapato, nuestros modelos de gateo disponen de una pequeña pieza de piel que hace las veces de tirador, para facilitar su manejo a la hora de calzar los zapatos a los peques, porque sabemos que a veces son torbellinos que no pueden estar quietos.
